The
picture is of my sister wedding ceremony. Saat kita melihat gambar tentu kita
melihat kebahagiaan yang terpancar di wajah pengantin baru.
The
procession that we see is a new bride walking to the church to receive a
blessing from the priest, as pastor was right behind the newlyweds. The
blessing will be performed in the church is to give thanks to the new bride,
where newlyweds have dinyatatakan sebagai legitimate couples with valid
agreement expressed by the pastor .
My
sister wedding ceremony procession is done in the Church Bolon HKBP Simpang
tiga, who were on the island Samaosir, Medan. My sister wedding was held on 26
May 2014. Biasaya Blessing Batak Toba traditional events conducted during the
morning, which is exactly at 10.00 until 12.00. At this moment the bride and
groom receive the blessing of the church by the pastor. After the blessing is
completed then the event will go to the adat batak toba. Disinalah we will see
everyone who was invited and everyone who came to the wedding party will
manortor (in batak language) together with a new bride.
In
traditional batak toba wedding ceremony, the newlyweds before entering a new
life then ever before to do various processions that the blessing of the church,
next custom event implementation. This traditional event is done for the
newlyweds meranyakan happiness manortor (in batak language) event with all the
families of newlyweds.
To
hold the wedding ceremony, before talks the talk needs to be done with all the

Yang bermakna “Newlyweds hopefully get a fortune that many go through life in a
new, complementary in shortage and sharing in happiness, menjadi sebuah
pasangan suami istri hingga kelak nanti mereka tua, as well as getting a lot of
children and grandchildren”.
