A Walk to Remember is a American coming-of-age teen romantic drama film based on the 1999 romance novel of the same name by Nicholas Sparks. The film stars Shane West (Landon Carter) and Mandy Moore (Jamie Elizabeth).

I'll tell a little about this film

When a prank on a fellow high-school student, Clay Gephardt, goes wrong, popular but rebellious Landon Carter (Shane West) is threatened with expulsion. His punishment is mandatory participation in various after-school activities, such as tutoring disadvantaged children and performing in the drama club's spring musical. At these functions he is forced to interact with quiet, bookish Jamie Elizabeth (Mandy Moore), a girl he has known for many years but to whom he has rarely ever spoken. Their differing social statures leave them worlds apart, despite their close physical proximity.

When Landon has trouble learning his lines, he asks Jamie for help. She agrees to help him if he promises not to fall in love with her. Landon laughs off the strange remark, believing Jamie to be the last person with whom he would ever fall in love. After all, Landon has access to the prettiest and most popular girls in town; and between her shy demeanor and old-fashioned wardrobe, Jamie doesn't exactly fall into that category. Landon and Jamie begin practicing together at her house after school. The two form a tentative friendship, and Landon learns that Jamie has a wish list of all the things she hopes to do in her life, such as getting a tattoo and being in two places at once. One day, Jamie approaches Landon at his locker, where he is hanging out with some of his friends. When Jamie asks Landon if they are still on for practice that afternoon he smirks "In your dreams". His friends laugh and Landon's smirk falters as Jamie's face fills with betrayal and embarrassment. That afternoon Landon arrives at Jamie's house, hoping that Jamie will still agree to help him. But she refuses to open the door. When she eventually does, she sarcastically remarks that they can be "secret friends". She slams the door in his face when he agrees. Landon eventually learns the script by himself.

During the play, Jamie astounds Landon and the entire audience with her beauty and voice. Landon kisses Jamie during the play, which was not in the script, and Landon tries to get close to Jamie, but she repeatedly rejects him. Soon thereafter, however, Landon's friends publicly humiliate Jamie by morphing her face on the photo of a scantily clad woman. Landon angrily confronts his friend, punching him and publicly siding with Jamie. Afterwards, Landon and Jamie begin a relationship in which Landon dedicates most of his time to her. He sets out to make all the things on her wishlist to come true, such as taking her to a state border so that she can stand on either side of the line and, thus, be in two places at once. He also visits Clay Gephardt to try and make up with him. In the final stretch of the movie, Jamie confesses to Landon that she has terminal leukemia and has stopped responding to treatments. Landon gets upset at first. Jamie tells him that she didn't tell him because she was moving on with her life and using the time she had left but then Landon happened and she fell deeply in love with him. She says that she "does not need a reason to be angry at God". Landon goes to his father, who is a doctor, and asks him to help Jamie. His father freaks out a bit and says that he needs to examine Jamie and know her medical history before he could do anything. Landon leaves in a huff.

Landon and Jamie make up the next day. They hug and he tells her that he will be there for her. Soon, word gets out about Jamie's illness. Eric, Landon's best friend, comes and tells him how sorry he is and that he didn't understand. Dean and Belinda both come and apologize, too. Jamie's cancer gets worse and she collapses in her father's arms. He rushes her to the hospital where he meets Landon. Landon doesn't leave Jamie's side until her father

practically has to pry him away. Jamie's father sits with Jamie and tells her that "If I've kept you too close, it's because I wanted to keep you longer." Jamie tells him that she loves him and he breaks down. Later, Jamie gives Landon a book that was her mother's filled with quotations. Landon reads 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 along with her. Jamie then tells Landon that she believes that God sent him to her to help her through her illness and that he is her angel. The next day, Landon comes to the hospital and sees Jamie being wheeled out. Jamie asks him to thank his father for her. He later learns that his father is going to pay for private home care for Jamie, leaving Landon stunned. Landon shows up at his father's door and thanks him before breaking down in tears as his father hugs him. Landon continues to fulfill various wishes on Jamie's list, such as building her a telescope so she can see a comet. Through this process, Landon and Jamie learn more about the nature of love. They eventually get married in the same chapel Jamie's parents were married in, which is the top thing on her list she wanted to do. Landon narrates that they had a wonderful summer together after getting married and that Jamie passed away shortly after. Landon himself becomes a better person through Jamie's memory, achieving the goals that he set out to do, like she did.

Four years later, Landon visits Jamie's father and shows that he is still a better person because of Jamie by informing her father that he has been accepted into medical school; prior to falling in love with Jamie, he had no plans for his future after high school. Jamie's father tells him that both he and his mother are proud of him and that Jamie would be too. Landon tells him that he is sorry he never granted Jamie's wish to witness a miracle. Jamie's father tells him that she did, in fact, witness one: Landon. Carrying that thought, Landon goes for a walk on the docks where he narrates that Jamie changed him forever and that while he does miss her, he believes their enduring love is like the wind, “he can't see it but he will always feel it”.

I Liked This Movie

I liked this film because the film is presented with background classical drama. The film is certainly inspire me, where a girl shows herself not with words, but with their daily activities. The film also includes assessing the meaning that the person should not be seen by looking at just a glance, but the hook is sincere.

I liked the character in the film is Jamie Elizabeth

Saya menyukai Jamie karena kepribadiannya dalam membawakan film ini, dimana saya melihat bahwa setiap kata kata yang ungkapkan oleh  jamie selalu bermakna dan sangat dalam jika kita merasakannya. One more, each expressed by jamie's what always match facenya very innocent and sincere. Ketulusan, kelemah lembutan dan keluguan tersebut menginspirasi saya. selain itu saya menyukai jamie karena dia sangat sederhana, akan tetapi juga sungguh beautifull.

THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR MY MAJORS

At this time of the English language is very important in a wide range of daily activities, especially for students. English is a language that is recognized by the world as an international language. A person's ability to speak English is a highly value-added support for activities that executable. Not only the working world who needs someone ingenuity in using the English language, but for a student also not less important, especially me. In college I majored in accounting, the accounting department a lot of courses that can be understood only if we understand the English language.

Because English is an international language, an awful lot of translations from various countries implied by the writing of the English language, one of which is the software that is used in accounting. One example of software that is used in accounting is Myob, Myob courses I can when undergoing a three-semester. Myob accounting software is one that is implied with the English language, and not only that there are still many other accounting software, software such as ACL, DEA. Not just accounting software, there are many other subjects that are taught in English, such as the courses I can when in five semesters, namely Introduction to Accounting Information Systems. such as the courses I can when in five semesters

At this time there have been many companies that issue financial statements, where the account in the report using the English language. Well if it can not speak English, how I would read the financial reports of a company?, but in reading the financial statements the Accounting Department of a company has already become a must. This is where we stressed that knowledge of English is essential in supporting our education and as capital for us if want more top achievers, and especially for me

I’LL DO IT AFTER GRADUATE

Currently my status as a student at the Gunadarma University who are undergoing the course of six semesters. Does not feel I've lived a lecture for a little over three years. I am in college by taking the level of Bachelor (S1), meaning that I would undergo a lecture for one year in the future to get my college degree. This lecture is a graduate of a very big dream for me, and my family especially for mother dearest. Ever thought in my mind, after graduate I will be returning to hometown and devote myself to my beloved in kampong. But after I think back, it was not the right time for me to devote myself directly in kampong my page. For devotion to be done with the correct preparation of true sincere and helpful especially to my hometown. Well to that I have to think back to all the steps that I will live in the future.

Once again never occurred in my head, after graduating College I'll be continuing education majoring. But I am not interested in it because I'd love to have the name of the world of work. Become an accountant is the very thing that I dream of. Therefore, upon graduation I will be applying for employment to the public accountant firm in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta. Choose a public accountant of course because of my majors are accounting and became an accountant in a firm is the right job for my Department and I really liked it.

After enjoying and live how the name of the working world, I will prepare myself to take my suitcase from Java is returning to the island of Sumatra are Medan, Samosir is beautiful. There I will be back to work for my beloved hometown. However after arriving in the village, first I will be on vacation and will reflect the beautiful panorama nan elok that spread by Lake Toba. After enjoying it I will work for everything on samosir island. My future goals and focus for samosir island during this time is to show the beauty and glamour that existed on the island of samosir to everyone, certainly not only in Indonesia but also to foreign countries.

Siapakah Saya

Siapakah saya? Jika ada yang bertanya seperti itu terhadap saya, maka saya akan menjawab saya tidak tahu siapa saya, sebab hanya orang lain yang bisa menilai siapa saya. Namun jika saya menjawab dengan simple, maka saya akan menjawab bahwa saya merupakan anak kelima dari enam bersaudara, yang dilahirkan disebuah pulau yang kecil nan indah, tepatnya pada tanggal 15 bulan april tahun 1992.

Akan tetapi lain halnya dengan pertanyaan yang satu ini, karena dari pertanyaan “siapakah saya” ini lebih merujuk kepada siapaka diri saya sendiri? Begitu bukan!!!

Baiklah, nama lengkap saya Kristianto Nadeak, saya tumbuh dan dewasa di sumatera utara, tepatnya di pulau samosir, dan saya memulai pendidikan dari sana. Mulai dari SD, SMP, sampai dengan SMA semuanya di Samosir. Di Samosir terdapat sebuah danau yaitu danau toba. Kebetulan hobby yang sangat saya senangi adalah menghabiskan waktu luang untuk memancing ke danau toba. Memancing merupakan hobby yang sangat saya senangi, karena dengan memancing kesabaran kita di uji, dan sembari memancing di danau toba, saya bisa menikmati panorama danau toba dengan semua gunung gunung kecil yang mengelilinginya. Itu sebuah keindahan yang sangat luar biasa bagi saya, dimana saya sering sekali menghabiskan waktu saya untuk itu dan disitulah lahir impian serta mimpi mimpi saya.

Mimpi mimpi dan semua impian saya lahir di samosir, dan saya tau bahwa mimpilah yang membawa saya ke Pulau Jawa ini, dan impian jugalah yang membuat saya bisa kuliah di Universitas gunadarma ini. Dulu sewaktu masih tinggal dikampung, tidak pernah terpikir oleh saya bahwa saya akan melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang sarjana muda.

Pengalaman saya yang sangat menyedihkan adalah ketika teman teman SMA saya mengadakan reunian sekolah untuk SMA Cerdas Bangsa lulusan tahun  2010 atau angkatan 2007, pada tahun 2013 tahun lalu. Pada saat itu saya sangat sedih karena saya tidak dapat hadir pada acara reuni tersebut. Akan tetapi saat itu juga saya sangat senang, kenapa? Karena saya SMA dirumah dan tidak kesekolah, hahahah. Kenapa bisa begitunya? Masalahnya SMA pun saya tidak benar. Coba kita bayangkan SMA kelas 2 dan kelas 3 tidak saya jalani, luar biasa bukan!!! Bisa kuliah Tetapi tidak SMA.

Jadi begini ceritanya, dulu saya melanjutkan pendidikan SMA di Medan, dan diterima di SMA Cerdas Bangsa, salah satu sekolah swasta di Medan. Namun belum selalai semester dua kelas satu, saya sudah disuruh tante saya pulang kekampung halaman saya samosir. Karena kebandalan saya ketika sekolah di SMA Cerdas Bangsa. Saya pun pulang kekampung lagi. Ketika sampai disamosir orang tua saya mendaftarkan saya ke SMA Santo Thomas, Salah satu sekolah swasta terfavorit di Samosir. Namun yang sangat saya sedihkan saat itu, semua bangku di sekolah tersebut sudah penuh dengan kata kuota untuk satu angkatan sudah penuh, dan tidak adalagi bangku bagi saya. Setelah itu Ibu saya terus berusaha dan mendaftarkan saya ke SMA Karya Jaya, salah sat sekolah swasta juga di samosir dan itu adalah SMA pilihan terakhir, karena saat itu sekolah swasta di samosir hanya ada dua yaitu, SMA Santo Thomas dan SMA karya jaya. Dan ketika Ibu mau mendaftarkan saya ke SMA Karya Jaya, saya menolak ibu, karena SMA Karya Jaya ini terlalu texas, saya takut nanti saya akan semakin membandal. Padahal ibu saya bermaksud mendaftarkan saya ke sekolah tersebut dengan maksud agar saya bisa melanjutkan semester yang sudah saya jalani di Medan. Dan akhirnya saya berkata kepada Ibu   “ tahun depan saja Ibu, biarlah saya memulai dari kelas 1 lagi akan tetapi di SMA Santo Thomas “ ucap saya kepada Ibu.

Waktupun terus berjalan, karena terlalu menikmati waktu untuk ke SMA Santo Thomas, mennyedihkan bukan...

Dan karena tidak ada pilihan lagi, mau tidak mau demi pendidikan saya harus mau mendaftar ke SMA Karya Jaya, dan akhirnya saya mendaftarkan diri di SMA Karya Jaya dan melanjutkan pendidikan disana. Waktupun terus berjalan, dan terbukti tidak sampai satu tahun saya sudah keluar atau dikeluarkan dari SMA Karya Jaya tersebut, waktu itu saya merenungkan waktu sejenak dan saya berpikir “owh teryata bukan Sekolahnya yang texas, akan tetapi saya lah orangnya yang texas”. Menyedihkan bukan…

Nah, mungkin saudara saudari bingung, kenapa saya bisa kuliah!!! SMA saja tidak lulus, ya itu patut dipertanyakan dan pertayaan saudara saudari itu benar, dan tidak ada salahnya. Nah saya kembali lagi ke Medan, dan saya sekolah lagi disana. Tadinya saya di Medan bermaksud untuk memulai dari kelas satu lagi, namun itu sangat berat bagi saya, karena saya takut nantinya saya malah Tua di SMA pula kaan.

Akan tetapi saya sangat berterimakasih kepada Kakak Ipar saya, karena Kakak ipar saya juga takut nantinya saya akan termakan usia di SMA, jadi Kakak saya mendaftarkan saya ke sekolah Yayasan Pendidikan  Program Paket C. Sebelum saya melanjutkan cerita ini, kita istrahat sejenak dan camkan lah ini saudara saudara, Yayasan Pendidikan Program Paket C ini adalah sekolah untuk orang orang yang berpikiran waras ya saudara saudara, berpandangan pula nanti saudara saudari bahwa sekolah tersebut bagi orang orang yang kurang waras. Dan saya menyebut sekolah ini terobosan terbaru dan tidak ada duanya. Memang terbukti, sebab dalam kurun waktu 6 b ulan saya disana, ijazah SMA saya sudah keluar dan atas nama saya juga, itulah luar biasanya. Akan tetapi itu adalah ijazah Paket C. Nah begitulah ceritanya kenapa saya bisa melanjutkan pendidikan saya ke jenjang Sarjana saudara saudara.

Nah, ada satu lagi sehingga kuliah saya bisa lancar, aman dan terkendali yaitu Medica. Medica adalah suatu bimbingan belajar ( Privat ) yang tidak bisa saya lupakan seumur hidup. Karena disanalah motivasi belajar saya tumbuh, dan belajar sungguh sungguh dan di bimbing disana. Dan dari sanalah saya mendapatkan bekal ilmu yang sangat banayak, dan saya mendapatkan banyak hal hal yang baru dari sana. Dan Medica lah yang memberikan bekal sehingga saya mampu mengikuti pembelajaran pembelajaran perkuliahan dengan baik dan lancar. Dan terbukti saya bisa mengikuti kuliah saya dan yang lebih luar biasa lagi, saya bisa masuk kekelas yang mana di dalam kelas tersebut semuanya orang orang pilihan. Wow ini sebuah keberuntungan bagi saya. Dan ada satu lagi, dari yang tidak menjalani SMA nya dengan baik, akan tetapi saat ini dia bisa menjadi Asisten dari Laboratorium terfavorit di Universitas Gunadarma, yaitu di Laboratorium Akuntansi Menengah. Dan siapakah dia, dan dia adalah saya.

Di dalam hidup ini, saya tidak mau mengejar sesuatu yang tidak past. Akan tetapi saya selalu punya impian, dan saya akan berada di impian tersebut suatu hari kelak dengan semua mimpi mimpi saya. Saya selalu menjalani hari hari saya sebagaimana mestinya, mulai kuliah, belajar, dan mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan oleh Para Dosen ke kelas kita. Dan saya selalu menikmati setiap hari hari yang di berikan oleh Tuhan kepada saya, menikmati indahnya pagi hari, menikmati indahnya sore hari dengan hembusan angin yang melegakan.

Itulah diri saya dari lubuk hati yang paling dalam, pengalaman saya dan saya sangat bersyukur kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, sebab Dia selalu memberikan jalan bagi saya didalam hidup ini. Satu kata dari saya, tetaplah hidup didalam mimpi, karena mimpilah yang membawa kita ke semua impian yang ada di benak kita. Dan jalanilah hari harimu sebagaimana itu adalah hari terakhirmu, sebab kita tidak tahu apa yang terjadi di esok hari nanti.
